Big Business Challenge!

We are pleased to annouce a new partnership with a fantastic young UK business called Jimmy’s Iced Coffee. Jimmy’s will help form part of our new Big Business Challenge for the 2012-2013 academic year and will bring a dynamic and  tried and tested approach to our Key Stage 4 programmes. Students will learn how a small business can succeed from just one great idea as well as submit their own work across print, design and campaign building challenges to be in with a chance of seeing their work used by Jimmy’s Iced Coffee! Altogether, a great way of promoting real application of student ideas and discovering emerging talent that can be used in work portfolios and CVs.

Jimmy’s was formed in 2010 by a brother and sister team in their 20s. Since then, they have gone on to sell their product nationwide and win contracts with some of the leading supermarkets and department stores in the country, as well as creating some of the best social and web marketing we’ve seen!

The brand also mirrors the business values and ethos that we try to promote through our programmes, which considers social and environmental factors.

To find out more about this exciting challenge, and how your school could take part in our Big Business Challenge for the new term, visit our Programmes page for more information.

Here’s a quick look at one such submission we had from the fantastic James Rehman from Valentine’s High School in Ilford:
